Job Overview
University Hospitals of Derby and Burton have an exciting position available for a CT Superintendent Radiographer based at our community diagnostic centres at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital and supporting our CT services across UHDB which include QHB, RDH, Ilkeston Community Hospital and our mobile CT van.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the training plans for new staff and the continual development CT staff across UHDB as well as working clinically to support the CT services.
This is a full time post, however part-time may be considered for the right candidate. The job will suit a highly motivated experienced CT Radiographer with a desire to lead the development of a team of staff across modern scanners with a varied workload.
This will be a rewarding but challenging role and we welcome Band 6/7 Radiographers with a desire to stretch their leadership skills and enhance their prospects for career progression.

You will have a BSc degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent and have current registration with the Health and Professions Council (HCPC).

We currently have 6 GE CT scanners and soon to gain an additional 5 GE scanners including the newest to market, GE Revolution Apex, and GE Revolution Ascend. These will begin to be operational in a few months time.
