Internal Sales Executive
Our dynamic and growing client near Shefford is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Internal Sales Executive to join their team. This role is perfect for a sales professional with proven account management experience and a strong desire to drive revenue growth within an existing customer base and convert new leads.
Crucially, this role involves NO COLD CALLING—all communication is handling inbound enquiries and following up with warm leads and existing customers. A confident and professional telephone presence is essential for building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage inbound customer enquiries to generate sales orders and quotations.
* Proactively follow up on all enquiries and quotations via phone, email, and company sales channels (including WhatsApp).
* Negotiate pricing and apply product knowledge to successfully secure orders.
* Re-engage with existing customers to gauge future requirements and drive sales growth.
* Communicate with potential new customers to develop relationships and generate new business.
What You Will Bring:
* At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar internal sales, account management, or commercial role.
* A proven, pro-active approach to sales with a strong desire and ability to win and grow both existing and new business.
* Excellent negotiation, influencing, and account management skills.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring repeat business and generating new leads.
* Highly personable, with the ability to hold natural phone conversations with people of all professional positions and statures.
* Proficient and fast-paced user of IT and CRM systems.
