Are you a reliable and skilled tradesperson with a background in carpentry? We’re looking for a practical, hands-on professional to carry out a variety of gate repairs and adaptations across residential and commercial sites. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, can work independently, and understands the importance of safety and efficiency on-site.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
* Perform on-site repairs and adaptations to wooden and (occasionally) metal gates
* Carry out basic carpentry tasks such as fitting, adjusting, and replacing gates or gate components
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, complying with site health & safety protocols
* Communicate effectively with site supervisors and clients
* Work independently or as part of a small, dynamic team
✅ Requirements:
* Proven handyman/trades experience, with a carpentry focus
* Valid Blue CSCS Card (NVQ Level 2 or above in Carpentry)
* Must have own tools and PPE
* Strong knowledge of site health and safety
⭐ Desirable (Not Essential):
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous experience with fencing or external joinery
