You will have the opportunity to work across our thriving kitchens in a
combined team, gaining a unique insight into different culinary styles and
learning from three exceptional Head Chefs. There’s the Living Space – our
place for easy seaside eating, meeting and lounging – and The Beach Hut,
serving burgers, steak and seafood right on the beach and Zacrys on the sea
wall, shining a light on provenance, place and perspective. Our breakfast team
may need an occasional hand, along with our prep kitchen and our outdoor
catering team too.

As the Chef
Tournant at Watergate Bay Hotel, you’ll bring culinary passion, creativity, and
meticulous attention to detail to the team. Collaborating closely with the head
chef’s, you'll craft innovative menus, oversee operations, and ensure top-notch
food quality. Your experience will inspire and guide the kitchen team,
fostering harmony and efficiency. With your culinary finesse and unwavering
commitment, you'll help deliver extraordinary dining experiences to our guests.

What your
days could look like:
* Assist
the Executive Chef and Head Chef’s in the effective and efficient
organisation, supervision and control of the kitchen operation, ensuring
all kitchen team carry out their duties to the Hotels standards.
* Carry
out the preparation, cooking and portioning of all food dishes including team
meals to the Hotels standards of quality and quantity.
* Maintain
the Hotels standards of department and personal appearance, cleanliness
and hygiene of the kitchen areas.
* Comply
with all instructions given by immediate supervisor.
* Preparation
for the day’s business in accordance with projected need.
* Following
all schedules within the kitchen and completion of daily check sheets and
temperature logs.
* Assist
colleagues in stocking up when necessary.
* Smooth
running of all aspects of the kitchen and back of house areas.
* Responsible
for undertaking the many tasks during the preparation, storage and service
of food and the other associated tasks.
* Maintain
an organised, clean and safe work place, not only for yourself but also
for those around.
