Fixed Term 12 Months (36 x2, 1x 15 hour) – Part‑time post, salary will be pro‑rata.
Role
Obtain blood samples from patients by venepuncture, ensuring patient and personal safety by adhering to Divisional Protocols, Policies and Procedures, and relevant Health and Safety legislation. Correctly label blood samples for laboratory testing. Provide cover in the absence of nursing/medical staff to ensure collections are taken.
Requirements
* Valid PVG Scheme membership/record (child and/or adult). If not current, application will need approval from Disclosure Scotland before appointment.
* Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and compliance with National Health Service Scotland requirements.
