Hybrid working is potentially available, depending on the area and manager. JLR is a multi-site business, and you’ll be required to spend time working with different departments at several locations.
Our undergraduate programmes offer a direct pipeline to our graduate scheme, which is not eligible for sponsorship. Therefore, JLR will only accept applications for this programme from candidates who have the right to work in the UK at the time of converting to the graduate scheme.

SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME

This year-long undergraduate programme will develop your technical skills and practical experience, setting you on the path to becoming a logistics professional.
INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS (IO): SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS TEAM
Our Reimagine strategy is transforming our business. We’re redesigning how we create and deliver luxury, sustainable cars and components.
Using advanced digital tools, we’re reinventing our supply chain to connect over 5,000 suppliers globally, ensuring timely, flexible, and sustainable delivery of vehicles.
As an undergraduate in this team, you’ll complete one 12-month placement. The programme covers five key areas: Supply Chain Planning, Material Fulfilment, IO Strategy & Programmes, Supply Chain Operations, Plant Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L).

* Supply Chain Planning: Responsible for creating production plans to ensure on-time vehicle delivery.
* Strategy & Programmes: Oversees supply and manufacturing networks, ensuring resilience and sustainability.
* Material Fulfilment: Manages supply resilience, resolves issues, and maintains delivery stability.
* Supply Chain Operations: Executes inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring efficient supply chain solutions.
* Plant Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L): Ensures parts availability at manufacturing stations, working with global suppliers.
Recent projects include implementing circular economy initiatives, geopolitical risk studies, and sustainability assessments.
YOUR DEVELOPMENT
Our programmes develop your curiosity and creativity over 12 months. You’ll work with experienced professionals, gain industry insights, and develop skills like resilience, personal branding, and self-care. Shadowing opportunities will enhance your understanding and technical expertise. Our Early Careers team will support your growth, preparing you for industry challenges and impactful careers.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Hold or be on track for at least a 2:2 degree in any subject. Data handling skills are beneficial but not required. You should be a problem-solver, curious about business challenges, with strong numerical and interpersonal skills. Confidence to champion new initiatives is essential.
Open only to penultimate-year students returning to their final year or integrated master’s after the placement. The programme starts on 7th July 2025.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
