Location: Manchester
Type: Temporary / Full Time
Rate: £16 - £18 per hour
Eden Brown are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Support Assistant (ISA) for a Further Education College in Manchester. This is a temporary role to start asap covering vacancy until 14th November 2025, not including half term.
36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential - academically, personally, and socially. You will work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to promote an inclusive learning environment where every learner feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
 * Provide individual and small group support to learners with SEND, fostering independence and progress.
 * Assist with the delivery of learning activities both in and out of the classroom.
 * Contribute to the development and review of learners' SMART targets, EHCP outcomes, and progress records.
 * Collaborate with tutors and curriculum teams to implement adaptive teaching strategies.
 * Support learners' wellbeing, personal development, and inclusion within the college community.
 * Maintain accurate and confidential learner records in line with college policies and safeguarding requirements.
 * Participate in enrichment activities, college events, and learner forums.
 * Provide personal care and emotional support where required, maintaining dignity and respect.
Requirements
 * Level 3 qualification (or working towards)
 * GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
 * Experience supporting young people with SEND in an educational setting
 * Knowledge of EHCPs, safeguarding, and inclusive learning practices
Desirable
 * Qualifications in supporting learners with SEND or equivalent (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Child Protection, First Aid, Counselling)
 * Experience in a post-16 education setting
