As People Business Partner, your primary role is to work in partnership with the Regional Management senior leadership team across Retail. Supporting and driving the Matalan store teams to achieve their overall business objectives. Your role will play a key part in enabling Retail to deliver their strategy by understanding business challenges and creating an agile and fit for purpose people plan.
Reporting directly into the Head of People, you will work alongside a team of BPs who will support other business areas; Logistics & Head Office. As part of a collaborative Business Partnering team you will be work with our leaders to drive colleague performance, wellbeing and engagement to deliver the overall Matalan people agenda, with an opportunity to really make a difference to our colleague experience.
You should be able to build trusted partnerships, with the ability to commercially advise and drive a high performance and engagement culture and challenge and influence in order to drive effective change.
