Overview
As a Trainee Nursing Assistant at HC-One, you will be a role model by leading with kindness in our Memory Care, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Responsibilities
* Assist in ensuring care planning arrangements are delivered to a high standard and support resident choice and independence.
* Take on nursing tasks delegated to you under supervision, report incidents, and spend time with residents to promote wellbeing.
* Assist in tasks such as administering medicines, wound care, catheter care and other direct clinical tasks under the supervision and guidance of a qualified nurse.

HC-One offers a Trainee Nursing Assistant role with a development program to upskill Senior Care Assistants to undertake more responsibility and develop the skills needed to become a Nursing Assistant. You will receive a salary increase after completing the program.
1. Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care (or working towards)
2. Minimum 2 years' experience in Health & Social Care where you have held a Senior Carer or similar leadership role, especially around administering medicines and leading a shift
3. Knowledge and understanding of the person-led care planning process and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements

All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in related areas. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
