About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom when teachers are absent, delivering pre-set work and maintaining a focused, supportive learning environment. You’ll work across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting a range of subjects. What You’ll Be Doing Supervising students in the absence of a classroom teacher Ensuring set work is completed and classroom behaviour is well managed Encouraging a calm, productive learning atmosphere Supporting the wider school community and adapting to different subject areas Reporting back to teaching staff and pastoral teams on student progress and behaviour What We’re Looking For A confident and professional communicator Experience working with young people (school, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring etc.) is desirable Someone reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic A genuine interest in education and supporting student development You must be eligible to work in the UK and be willing to undergo a DBS check Why Work as a Cover Supervisor?
