About the Role:
Carestaff Solutions is proud to announce a brand-new partnership with a Family Assessment Centre in Preston. We are now recruiting compassionate and committed Residential Support Workers to support young mothers and their babies in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity where you’ll be making a real impact by helping families through structured assessments and daily routines to build brighter futures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day support to young mothers and their children in a residential setting
* Assist with structured assessments and family support plans
* Maintain detailed observation and accurate report writing
* Promote a safe and supportive environment in line with safeguarding practices
* Encourage and model positive parenting, boundaries, and routines
* Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals
Requirements:
* Experience in family assessment work or children’s residential care
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – highly desirable
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk assessment
* Excellent communication, observation, and report-writing skills
* Ability to work flexibly and maintain professional boundaries
* PMVA training (or willingness to complete via Carestaff Solutions)
