Aston Education is looking for a Director of Ethos and Culture for an Ofsted Good Church of England secondary school in Lambeth, South London. This role is a senior leadership role.
The Director of Ethos and Culture plays a central role in sustaining and promoting the Christian ethos, culture, and values of the school.
In this role you'll ensure that every student can flourish academically, socially, and personally within a safe, inclusive, and values-driven environment.

Additional PPA time for all teachers: The school believes that lessons are better taught when teachers have enough time to plan, prepare and assess. All teachers receive a minimum of 5 hours of non-contact time each week during the school day.
Key Responsibilities include:
Planning, managing, and sustaining processes that develop and embed the school's values across all areas
Serve as a DSL with full oversight of safeguarding policies and practice
Maintain the school advisory programme
Build and maintain links with local schools and the wider community
Ensure positive behaviour practices, including managing internal and external suspensions
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
Degree and teaching qualification with QTS/QTLS
Middle leadership experience with demonstrable impact
NPQ or equivalent (desirable)
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Senior leadership experience with demonstrable impact (desirable)
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of safeguarding and education systems
Effective time management and IT competence (Google Education Suite)
Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and student success
