Engineering Team Leader - Specialising in Civil Engineering

We’re working with a forward-thinking consultancy who are looking for an experienced Civil Technician to join their growing Cardiff team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician with infrastructure and drainage experience to work on varied, high-quality projects across South Wales and the South West. You’ll be part of a supportive environment with direct mentorship from the Civil Engineering Director and clear opportunities for development.
The role:
* Preparing infrastructure and drainage designs using AutoCAD (Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/Flow desirable)
* Supporting the design and delivery of residential and renewable energy projects
* Assisting with Section Agreements (278/38/104) and technical drawings
* Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
* Gaining exposure to projects you can see built locally day-to-day
What we’re looking for:
* 5+ years’ experience within civil/infrastructure design
* Strong AutoCAD skills, with experience in residential design
* Knowledge of Section Agreements and drainage design software desirable
* A proactive and detail-driven technician keen to keep developing
Sectors include:
