The Role We are working alongside a leading fit-out contractor based in Greater Belfast area to recruit an Estimator. In this role, you will play a key part in the commercial success of projects by delivering accurate and timely estimates. The company puts people and quality at the heart of everything they do, delivering high-quality interior and fit-out projects across retail, commercial, and hospitality sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. You will; Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to define project scope and requirements. Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and detailed take-offs for labour, materials, and subcontractors. Conduct site visits and source, evaluate, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations. Identify risks, value engineering options, and cost efficiencies to enhance project value. Support tender submissions, client presentations, and collaboration with project teams to align estimates with delivery. What's in it for you; Flexible working hours (core hours 10am - 2.30pm). The Ideal Candidate; Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of cost management, estimating, and contract administration.
