We are Dechra, a growing, global specialist in veterinary pharmaceuticals. Our expertise is in the development, manufacture, marketing and sales of high-quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide.

Your Next Adventure
We're looking for someone who loves being at the heart of operations and enjoys working closely with people to help them do their best work. In this role, you'll be a go-to expert for day-to-day manufacturing and packing activities, supporting our teams to deliver safe, high-quality products with pride.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key part in keeping our production lines running smoothly - supporting batch manufacture, troubleshooting issues, and helping us meet our plans efficiently and safely. You'll champion our safety culture, take part in risk assessments and safety walks, and help maintain a clean, well-organised workplace where everyone feels confident and protected.

Quality is at the heart of what we do, so you'll help review documentation, support investigations, and coach colleagues to get things 'right first time'. You'll also be involved in audits and continuous improvement activities, always looking for ways to improve our processes.

People are central to this role. You'll train and support operators and technicians, help new starters settle in, and keep communication flowing across the shift. You'll be a positive presence on the shop floor, encouraging engagement, sharing updates, and helping to build a culture where everyone feels valued. You'll also contribute to wider improvement projects, cross-functional meetings, and initiatives that help us boost performance, reduce waste, and deliver great results.

Who We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who brings energy, initiative and a positive attitude to the shopfloor. You'll thrive in a team environment, stay calm and organised in a regulated setting, and take pride in delivering high-quality work every day while helping to drive improvements.
You'll have hands-on experience in low to medium-volume production, ideally within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment, and feel confident working with manual or semi-automated processes. A strong understanding of Health & Safety is essential, along with the ability to manage your time effectively and communicate clearly with colleagues across different functions.
It would be a bonus if you're familiar with systems like Oracle, comfortable using data to support improvement work, or have experience with continuous improvement tools and leading small projects or teams.
Overall, we're looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative and eager to contribute to a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Why you'll love it here
We provide veterinary professionals with the tools to support the welfare of animals worldwide. A true career with real purpose, that's something you can proudly shout about.
We work across a 9-day fortnight at our Skipton site. This means every second Friday will be your day off, allowing for those longer weekends so you can spend more time with family and friends, offering a great work-life balance.
We also care deeply about our employees, you'll have full access to our Employee Assistance programme (EAP) which ensures you have confidential emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support 24/7 365. This ensures that you are well-equipped to deal with life's many challenges. In addition to this, we also offer:
Healthcare Cash plan (covers the cost of dental, prescriptions, therapies)
