Was established to provide bespoke support and intervention for children and young people, this support would be delivered by a resilient, motivated, and experienced staff team who are committed to providing a safe, warm, and nurturing environment, which affords the children and young people a space to grow and develop.
*We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our 2 bedded children's home to deliver and maintain a high standard or care, nurture and support 2 young people.*
*Duties*
* Ensure that the regulation requirements are met through the Statement of Purpose and that statement meets organisation requirements and is implemented, evaluated, and reviewed within the appropriate timescales.
* Take full responsibility for the management and operations of the home.
* Provide the highest quality of care and support to our Children/Young People in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards met by the Regulatory Body.
* Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
* Conduct regular assessments of children's health and wellbeing, adjusting care plans as necessary.
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for each child.
* Maintain accurate records of care activities, incidents, and communications in accordance with company policies.
* Ensure that staff receive appropriate training to meet the young people's needs.
* undertake management of the efficient operation, delivery, and development of our residential service through an innovative and person-centred approach
*Qualifications*
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or willingness to work towards the qualification.
* Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care Children and Young people or equivalent qualification
* Experience within a deputy / manager role supporting Children & Young people EBD, with complex needs.
* Experience in working within a framework of safeguarding.
* Excellent working knowledge of equality and diversity.
* Excellent organisational skills, accurate record keeping with a high attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* Experience in managing people and performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £42,000.00-£44,100.00 per year
