Brook Street is supporting a Legal firm in the Southampton area in their search for a Legal Secretary / Paralegal within Conveyancing. The firm has been trading over 60 years and offers high standards of legal service to clients throughout Hampshire.
The successful candidate does not need conveyancing experience but would need legal practice experience as a trainee, paralegal or legal secretary.
Duties include:
* To assist and manage a busy case load as part of a team within residential conveyancing
* Opening new client files, sending out care letters, filing, photocopying & management of own diary
* Communication with clients, agents, third parties and brokers
* Assisting fee earner from start to exchange and then completion & archive
* Submitting searches, offers and title documents
* Dealing with ongoing enquiries received and supply responses or escalate as required
We are looking for a candidate with a polite and professional manner, who is able to be courteous to all visitors and clients via the telephone, email, letter and in person.
