Sales Coordinator
Location: Kettering/Hybrid
Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Let's be honest - most "internal sales" roles are either glorified order processing or chaotic firefighting. This one sits properly in the middle and, when done well, it's genuinely a commercial role.
You'll be the link between customers, external sales, and supply chain - owning the process from enquiry through to delivery. Not just taking orders, but ensuring everything runs smoothly, issues are sorted quickly, and opportunities are not missed along the way.
Responsibilities
* Act as the day-to-day contact for key customers - handling queries, updates, and problem-solving.
* Manage orders end-to-end, from quote to delivery.
* Work closely with external sales and supply chain to keep everything on track.
* Proactively keep customers updated rather than waiting for them to chase.
* Handle pricing, delivery schedules and stock-related decisions.
* Sort out invoice queries and general issues where things don't line up.
Qualifications
* Organised, detail-focused and able to juggle multiple priorities, with prior internal sales experience.
* Comfortable dealing with customers day-to-day and building proper relationships.
* Confident working with numbers, pricing and margins.
* Can dig in and resolve problems rather than sit on them.
* Good communication across teams (sales, ops, suppliers and others).
