About The Role
As a Night Manager at HC-One, you will prioritize kindness in every aspect of our care homes, which include Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist services. You will understand that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and your role offers a meaningful opportunity to give back to them.
Your responsibilities include overseeing a specific part of the home and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. In the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy, you will manage the entire home. This involves reporting concerns such as mobility issues, assisting with monitoring samples, or administering medication, always with respect for resident dignity and well-being.
You should have proven leadership skills in a care environment for vulnerable adults, along with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills. The role requires accountability and considerate communication with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are essential.
