Wastewater Treatment Team Leader
Fixed‑term contract up to 6 months. 37 hours per week (flexible working arrangements considered). Salary £40,480 – £50,600 (depending on experience) plus car allowance. Location: Berwick, Northumberland.
About the Role
You will oversee a team of operators and manage daily workflow activities from our task library, a schedule of maintenance and routine tasks. You will lead team meetings to discuss tasks, guide the team, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and health & safety requirements.
* Providing constructive feedback and supporting colleagues to improve performance.
* Boosting employee engagement by creating a culture of trust and empowerment.
* Acting as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and customers.
* Participating in an out‑of‑hours standby rota.
* Using the company SCADA system on a daily basis and troubleshooting alarms.
* Attending required inductions and training to acquire technical wastewater knowledge.
About You
