Role: Marketing Manager
Contract: 3 months FTC with a view to going permanent
Salary: Circa £50k per annum
Structure: Hybrid in Hull
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Core Purpose:
Brand guardian and owner of the integrated marketing plan (online + offline). Develops and delivers cohesive brand campaigns, ensures consistency across all customer touchpoints and partners with Sales & Product to create and deliver go-to-market plans
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Campaign Leadership
* Develop and deliver annual marketing plans aligned to business priorities
* Act as brand guardian to ensure consistency across all channels & departments
* Lead cross-channel campaigns (retail promotions, product launches, awareness campaigns, advertising programmes, events, webinars, etc)
Digital Engagement & Integration
* Work closely with Head of Digital & Digital Exec to ensure campaign cohesion across web, PPC, SEO, and paid channels
* Provide digital campaign/ad briefs, develop content plans for blogs, PR and brand content, partnering with and managing agency briefs where relevant
* Drive online engagement, build brand excitement and attract leads through compelling digital campaigns and content
* Oversee the customer-facing digital brand experience to ensure it feels consistent, exciting, and conversion-focused
* Manage online brand voice including collaborations, UGC and social agendas
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
* Partner with Sales Channel Managers to design & execute their tailored marketing plans
* Collaborate with Product (NPD & existing range) to launch new products with supporting assets
* Support HR/People team with employer brand and internal comms when needed
Creative Oversight
* Manage retained creative agency (or internal Creative & Brand Designer)
* Oversee creative briefing, asset development, and campaign execution
* Ensure brand guidelines evolve and consistency is applied
* Ensure all marketing assets are maintained, version controlled and library ready
Offline Brand Growth
* Lead on trade shows, retail POS, events, and printed marketing collateral
* Creation of media plans and creative execution materials
* Pivotal in retail store and showroom enhancement programmes
* Mature offline brand presence to match digital efforts
Background/Skillset:
* 5+ years’ experience; 2–3 years in a lead/management role
* B2C and B2B Retail, consumer product/product-focused business background
* Strong campaign & launch planning (integrated on/offline)
* Brand guardian across POS, digital, print, events, showroom
* Solid digital knowledge (web, email, paid channels, e-com site experience ideal)
* Team leadership & agency/creative management
* Cross-department collaboration with sales & product teams
* Creative flair with strong eye for design and messaging
