Our client, a well-established organisation, is seeking an experienced finance professional to support one of their long-term contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a blend of reporting, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement.
The Role
In this position, you will take responsibility for the financial management and reporting of a key contract within the business. You’ll work alongside both finance and non-finance colleagues to ensure accurate performance reporting, strong controls, and meaningful financial insight.

Key Responsibilities
* Produce monthly management accounts and ensure reporting accurately reflects operational activity
* Provide financial guidance to managers and operational teams
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes
* Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal requirements
* Manage data requests and liaise with external stakeholders as required
* Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for contract activity
* Contribute to process improvements and best-practice initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Solid background in management accounting
* Comfortable working with senior staff and influencing decision-making
* Strong analytical skills with excellent Excel capability
* Able to interpret complex information and present it clearly
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator across various stakeholder groups
* Experience with contract-based environments or regulated reporting is beneficial but not essential
