As a Chef de Partie, you will lead your section with confidence, balancing precision and creativity while ensuring every dish is prepared and served with care.
This role is ideal for a hardworking and organised chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality, efficiency, and teamwork. You will manage a large production section, contributing to the preparation of over 2,000 portions daily while delivering fresh, vibrant, and consistent dishes at pace.
The Role
1. Run a large production section within a high-volume kitchen
2. Prepare, cook, and present dishes efficiently to meet service deadlines
3. Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and portion control
4. Support the wider kitchen team with a flexible and proactive approach
5. Follow recipes and specifications accurately, ensuring allergen compliance and food safety standards are met
6. Keep workstations clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene regulations
7. Contribute to a positive kitchen culture focused on teamwork and high standards
About You
8. NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or working towards it), or an equivalent qualification
9. Genuine passion for producing high-quality food
10. Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety principles
11. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
12. Motivated, proactive, and eager to develop
13. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
14. Positive and supportive team player
15. Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and professionalism
