About the Role
In this crucial role, you’ll take the wheel on planning efficient fleet and manpower usage—ensuring vehicle runs are cost-effective, achievable, and delivered on time. Working as part of a fast-paced Transport Team, you’ll be the key link between drivers, departments, and customers to keep everything on track.
What you'll be doing
* Planning effective fleet and manpower utilisation
* Answering transport queries and supporting drivers
* Managing delivery bookings and ensuring system accuracy
* Liaising with subcontractors, internal departments, and customers
* Supporting Health & Safety best practice
* Looking for ways to boost efficiency and reduce costs
* Providing all-round admin support to keep the team running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in an administrative role (transport background desirable)
* Confident communicator – written and verbal
* Strong IT skills and a good eye for detail
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Great multitasking and time management skills
* Comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels
* Proactive, positive, and committed to continuous improvement
