About You
You will work in a dynamic, supportive team of over 100 employees onsite and more than 1,500 across the UK. You will play a key role in supporting customer requirements and achieving business objectives. This is a long-term opportunity with investment in your development through one-to-one training in composite lamination techniques.
Job Purpose
Supporting the Cleanroom by ensuring the correct lay-up of pre-impregnated glass and carbon fibres into mould tools. Precision and attention to detail are essential when working within an established team.
Responsibilities
1. Support the manufacture of composite aerospace parts within the Cleanroom, working alongside skilled operators who will assist in your development.
2. Develop lay-up methodologies to increase flexibility across all Cleanroom products.
3. Complete all jobs within specified timeframes to facilitate progression through salary bands.
4. Follow all health and safety protocols within the Cleanroom and wider organization.
5. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of your work area and the wider Cleanroom environment.
