Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Systems Engineer

As we scale our operations and advance innovation, we are seeking a Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) Systems Engineer/Technician to help us maintain and evolve our Business Management System (BMS).

The Role
As our HSEQ Systems Engineer/Technician, you will support the implementation and continual improvement of our management systems and processes. You’ll ensure compliance with industry regulations, help facilitate audits, and promote a culture of operational excellence across all Nyobolt sites.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and improve Nyobolt’s BMS aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other relevant standards.
* Support document control: creation, approval, distribution, and retention of business-critical documentation.
* Organise and conduct internal audits; assist with external audit readiness and compliance.
* Coordinate CAPA processes—investigate non-conformities, carry out root cause analysis, and track remedial actions.
* Manage documentation for non-conforming materials/products and support investigation efforts.
* Analyse quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Train and support staff on BMS procedures and tools.
* Collaborate with teams across engineering, operations, and leadership to drive improvement initiatives.
* Be willing to travel occasionally to other Nyobolt sites as part of your role.
Qualifications
* A high school diploma or equivalent (a relevant associate degree or technical certification is a plus).
* Experience in a compliance, quality, or audit-related function.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
* Strong organisational and documentation skills.
* Confidence with MS Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and document management systems.
* Clear, effective communication skills—both written and verbal.
* A methodical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* The ability to work independently and within a team environment.
