Are you an organised and detail-driven individual with a passion for logistics and international trade? We’re looking for an Import & Export Administrator to join our team in Southampton. In this role, you’ll support global import and export operations while managing repair orders for UK and international customers.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and process all paperwork for global sales, repair shipments, and returns
* Coordinate inbound UK freight shipments, ensuring customs compliance and timely clearance
* Minimise duties, taxes, and associated costs where possible without impacting service levels
* Maintain accurate import/export records for audit and compliance purposes
* Manage controlled exports and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
* Liaise with service providers and internal teams to resolve customs or compliance issues
* Support the development of procedures to streamline international trade processes
* Process all UK and global repair orders accurately and on time
* Provide support to internal teams and stakeholders as required
About You

Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, able to work with minimal supervision
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Self-motivated with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
* Experience using ERP systems
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Desirable
* Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance processes
* Experience working within a logistics or warehouse environment
* Familiarity with SAP or similar systems
* Commercial awareness within an international business
Qualifications
* A-Level or GCSE equivalent as a minimum
