Our client, an industry-leading drilling contractor is looking for a Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) on-board their 6th generation Drillship drilling rig from ASAP until the 28th of August with a second trip commencing 24th September x 4 weeks.
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of two years offshore experience in this role on-board 5th / 6th generation Drillship drilling rigs.
In addition, the following training and experience is required:
1. Suriname Visa
2. STCW Certificate of Competency (II/1) - OOW Deck.
3. GMDSS General Operator's Certificate / CAA License / Dynamic Positioning Operator Certificate (Unlimited).
4. OPITO Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) with CA-EBS.
5. STCW Medical Certificate of Fitness for Seafaring Work / ENG1 Medical.
6. Seafarer's Book
7. STCW Designated Security Duties
8. STCW Basic Safety Training
9. STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
