Job Description: Head of Operations (Diverse Needs)

We are seeking two exceptional professionals to serve as Head of Operations, overseeing a range of services for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, Autism, substance misuse, and challenging behaviours. These services include community support, supported living, residential care, nursing, and independent living.
Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
1. Ensure recruitment, development, support, and management of staff to meet organizational and service needs.
2. Ensure compliance with company values, policies, procedures, and legal obligations, and recommend innovative ways to meet evolving service demands.
3. Contribute to budget development and ensure services operate within financial plans.
4. Establish and maintain effective communication with commissioners and strategic partners, managing conflicts proactively.
5. Build and sustain relationships with external organizations and agencies impacting your service area.
6. Support the strategic growth of the organization through policy development and service innovation.
7. Participate in the emergency on-call rota and serve as the designated safeguarding lead.
8. Demonstrate experience in managing multiple social services.
