SAP Basis Administrator - Birmingham - Contract

This role requires hybrid working from Birmingham but may involve travel to other sites and third party suppliers.
Inside IR35 - £450-475/day
SAP Basis Administrator required for a leading customer based in Birmingham to manage life cycle of Linux services and SAP HANA databases, as well as providing support to the wider SAP team.
Key skills & responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of SAP HANA database environments to ensure stability and reliability.
2. Continuously monitor system performance, analyse workload trends, and implement tuning strategies to optimise efficiency and scalability.
3. Plan, execute, and validate backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity and ensure business continuity.
4. Project and Security Compliance tasks
5. Collaborate closely with the SAP functional and technical teams, providing expert guidance and operational support.
6. Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, capacity constraints, replication failures, and other data integrity concerns.
