RAC Mobile Mechanics bring their technical expertise to our customers' doors, performing car services, repairs, and diagnostics at customers' homes or workplaces. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based vehicle technicians to join our rapidly growing team.
We provide the van, tools, and bookings—your role is to bring your personality, customer service skills, and experience. You'll have the full support of a network of other mobile mechanics, roadside technicians, in-house experts, and RAC professionals. Plus, enjoy ongoing training and career progression opportunities.

What you'll get with the RAC
* Market-leading base salary of £38,625, with potential to earn up to £48,000 including bonuses and overtime

* A friendly face who interacts positively with customers
* Someone who enjoys variety—car services, diagnostics, repairs, and checks at customers' homes
* Ability to think on your feet and make decisions for customer satisfaction
Requirements:
* A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 3 years of practical experience as a vehicle technician in the motor trade working with various light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
