Vehicle Technician - Clevedon
Our client, a reputable Independent Garage based in Clevedon, Somerset, is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their well-established and friendly team. Duties:
* Carried out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles
* Adhere to manufacturer standards and company procedures to ensure quality and safety as a Vehicle Technician
* Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
* Conduct safety checks and ensure vehicles meet safety and environmental standards
* Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and services performed
* Assist at the front desk with booking in and out vehicles and addressing customer inquiries as required
* Uphold health and safety policies and work to high standards of workmanship
Requirements:
* Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum)
* At least two to three years’ post-qualification experience in a garage environment
* Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
* Demonstrate strong technical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Motivated, reliable, and able to produce high-quality work under pressure
* An active MOT licence or experience with diesel, hybrid, or electric vehicles is highly desirable but not essential
