The role
As Menswear Creative Lead you will work closely with the Chief Creative Officer and Head of Design to provide the overarching design direction for the Menswear collection.
A product focussed role, you will work across all categories ensuring our collections are well-rounded, appropriate to end use and with our Menswear/Womenswear customer in mind at all times.
What you’ll be doing (key responsibilities)
1. Delivering at pace the Design vision of the Chief Creative Officer
2. Collaborate with the CCO & Head of Design on seasonal creative directions and colour palettes
3. Lead the design of our Menswear product across all categories, ensuring collections are cohesive, commercial and align with our AllSaints aesthetic. You are a team player who works collaboratively across the team of designers to guide our collections. A strong researcher, you will draw on a wide variety of sources to provide direction and inspiration to the team
4. An awareness of the critical path to ensure that our collections are designed within the correct timeframes
5. Commercial range building to create collections that cover a variety of end use and appeal to a diversity of Menswear customers. A strong awareness of the market place and Allsaints position within it
6. An awareness of AllSaints’ sustainable & ethical standards, ensuring that fabric, trim & process choices are in line with the company vision
7. Work closely with the Head of Design to ensure that the storytelling of the collection is communicated to the wider business i.e. Retail and Wholesale teams
WHAT SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED?
8. Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative design skills and successful product launches with a strong understanding of current trends and consumer preferences
9. Strong understanding of materials and garment construction
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
11. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic AllSaints environment
