Inspire, Support, Empower - One Child at a Time
Tradewind Recruitment is proud to partner with a number of exceptional SEN schools in North Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas, where learning is about so much more than just academics.
We're searching for a compassionate and creative Primary SEN Teacher to support children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a variety of complex learning needs. These pupils require not just teaching-but inspiration, patience, and belief in their potential.
If you're driven by purpose and passionate about creating inclusive and meaningful learning experiences, this role could be your perfect next step.
The Role - More Than Just a Teacher
As an SEN Primary Teacher, you'll play a vital role in shaping a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment where young learners feel understood and empowered.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Tailored Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging, sensory-based lessons that are fully differentiated to meet individual learning needs across the EYFS-KS2 curriculum.
Relationship Building: Develop strong, consistent, and trusting relationships with your pupils-helping them grow in confidence, communication, and independence.
Specialist Strategies: Use evidence-based approaches such as TEACCH, PECS, Makaton, and sensory integration to support students with communication and emotional regulation.
Holistic Support: Work collaboratively with TAs, therapists, SENCOs, and families to ensure a joined-up, child-centred approach to education.
Progress Monitoring: Write and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to EHCP reviews, ensuring every child receives the support they need to succeed.
Celebrating Success: Champion your pupils' progress-academic or personal-and help them overcome barriers with positivity, resilience, and creativity.
