About the Role
As a Product Support Engineer - Rail, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mtu rail products, adhering to approved manuals and contract requirements, and embrace digitalisation. Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative, scheduled, and corrective maintenance activities according to schedules, manuals, and contracts.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance and procedures.
* Conduct planned maintenance following operating instructions.
* Attend meetings with customers to obtain sign-offs for work completed.
* Diagnose and repair faults using technical information such as drawings and guides.
* Document all work accurately for company and customer records.
* Engage in HSQE management processes proactively.
* Maintain cleanliness of onsite facilities.
* Attend training courses to keep skills current.
* Participate in 24/7 shift work, including callouts.
* Work as a mobile engineer if required, with a provided van.
* Report parts used during service for stock control.
* Utilize IT systems like Go!Care, C4S, eWeb, and others effectively.
