Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader in the Sefton area, at Nugent Sefton Services specialising in providing high-quality adult social care services, focusing on individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health needs. The services aim to enhance the quality of life for its clients through person-centred care and support.
Location of role: Sefton Services
Hours: 39 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £29,338.17 - £31,300.74
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of staff to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
* Oversee compliance with care standards and implement service improvement initiatives.
* Support the Deputy Service Lead in daily operations.
* Staff development through training and appraisals, maintaining accurate records, and engaging with stakeholders, including families and external professionals.
* Promote a culture of professionalism and respect while ensuring the well-being of those supported by Nugent.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities and effective organisational capabilities.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, or relevant experience or willingness to work toward Level 3 or management qualification.
* Understanding of adult social care practices and regulatory requirements, with experience in the sector, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
* Commitment to person-centred care and a proven track record of mentoring staff.
* Empathy, positivity, adaptability and resilience to create and maintain a collaborative team environment and high-quality support.
* Own vehicle and a full UK driving license.
