Architectural Technologist
Location: Cheltenham
Salary Expectations: £35-42,000 (DOE)

About you:
7. Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent (HND/HNC will be considered)
8. Proven UK experience within a relevant role
9. Strong technical portfolio, ideally including commercial or industrial projects
10. Proficiency in Revit (essential), with AutoCAD experience advantageous
11. Thorough knowledge of UK construction methods, Building Regulations, and technical standards
12. Highly organised with excellent communication skills
13. Confident working both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
14. Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Key responsibilities:
15. Producing accurate, high-quality 2D and 3D drawings across planning, tender, and construction stages
16. Translating design ideas into fully coordinated, buildable technical solutions
17. Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to support smooth project delivery
18. Coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers on layouts
19. Assisting across RIBA Stages 1-5
20. Preparing and managing planning applications while advising clients on requirements
21. Ensuring all outputs meet current Building Regulations, codes, and best practice standards
22. Undertaking site visits, compiling reports, and addressing technical queries with contractors
23. Supporting scope of work documentation and contributing to design risk registers
