Assistant Site Manager – Residential Development
* Location: Bracknell
* Duration: Approx. 3–4 Months (Forecast to Mid June)
* Rate: £220 – £240 per day (Dependent on Experience)
* Start Date: Immediate
Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Site Manager to join an active residential development in Bracknell. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a block of 25 flats, overseeing the project from 2nd fix through to completion.
This role is ideal for a driven construction professional with strong finishing-stage experience who can confidently coordinate trades, maintain programme targets, and ensure high-quality delivery standards.
This is a temporary contract position with work forecast to run until mid June.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations
* Overseeing works from 2nd fix through final completion
* Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme adherence
* Maintaining strict health & safety compliance
* Conducting site inspections and quality assurance checks
* Managing snagging and defect resolution
* Ensuring works are delivered to specification and deadlines
* Supporting handover and completion procedures
* Monitoring workmanship, productivity, and site standards
* Liaising effectively with trades, suppliers, and management
Requirements
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
* CSCS Card – Black Preferred (Gold Accepted)
* First Aid at Work Certificate (3-Day)
* Proven experience within residential construction
* Strong understanding of finishing and completion phases
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to coordinate multiple trades and priorities
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations
* Professional, reliable, and solution-focused approach
