What is required from you
* A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
* Full time and part time hours available, will include working alternate weekends
* Night shifts available
* Must hold a NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care and preferably working towards a level 3
A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant
* Person-centred care — ensure residents receive personal care (bathing, dressing and oral care) within their preferences while promoting right to choice and independence
* Review — contribute to and carry out care reviews to ensure plans reflect residents’ needs
* Medication — administer residents’ medication in a safe, supportive and compliant way
* Social activity — lead and participate in trips, social engagements and activities within the home
* Leadership — support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and assist in leading the home when more senior managers are unavailable
