We are currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our team in the North of Scotland to support our Daviot, Netherglen & Tom's Forest Quarries The successful candidate will ensure all electrical maintenance, operation and plant efficiency is optimised. With a focus on energy reduction and sustainability in order to maintain the safe, maximum level of availability and reliability at the lowest level of maintenance costs, covering all electrical equipment, installations and buildings on the plant. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:- * To set, provide and maintain excellence in Electrical Maintenance Standards * Responsible for the standards and ensuring the site work within the statutory legislation and company policies and procedures * Control all costs related to electrical items within the overall maintenance budget * Develop and deliver investment and improvement projects to increase plant efficiency, reduce energy consumption * Setting of works technical standards * Liaise with Electrical Statutory Inspection Engineers * Adhering to and ensuring self and others follow health and safety and environmental compliance with Company rules and expectations, as well as any legal obligations * Ensure focussed, proactive communication of any potential new miss/hazards within the work area to the Company's Health & Safety Department and Line Management * Complete ad-hoc duties, tasks and projects as required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise * The successful candidate will be an experienced Maintenance Electrician, ideally with an industrial background. * You will be able to work with minimal supervision through analysis, judgement and initiative to resolve issues in a safe, time oriented and cost-effective manner. * Demonstrate that you can work safely * Possess good organisational and communication skill * Have the appropriate skills and qualifications to execute the requirements of the role, and to provide flexibility to undertake emergency repairs where and when these arise Benefits * A tailored, competitive salary * Company Pension Scheme * 33 days annual leave, (including bank holidays) * Share Saver Scheme * Company Life Assurance Scheme * Access to our employee benefits platform, giving you discounts on a wide variety of high street shops and brands * Broad learning opportunities and career progression pathways Diversity Statement: At Breedon Group, we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued.
