We are hiring for a
Head of Fleet
to take ownership of our client's UK-wide vehicle operations, driving compliance and efficiency across the business.
About the Role You’ll be responsible for managing a fleet of approximately 200 vehicles (3.5T–18T), working closely with operational managers across the UK to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, and in full compliance.
Location Midlands-based, with regular attendance at their office near Junction 26M1 (Nottingham).
What You’ll Be Doing Leading the management of a diverse national fleet.
Ensuring full compliance, including Operator’s Licence oversight
Supporting regional managers with driver and fleet compliance
Building strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
Overseeing workshops and service standards across the network
Managing fleet costs, fines, and day-to-day expenditure
Handling fleet administration (V5s, purchase orders, etc.)
Producing weekly reports for senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
Transport Manager CPC (essential)
Recent hands-on fleet management experience
Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Experience managing commercial vehicles (highly desirable)
