The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Bank for a Relationship Manager/Corporate Banking Manager to join their Branch in Stoke on Trent. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of corporate customers, delivering tailored financial solutions, and ensuring exceptional client service standards. You’ll play a key part in business development activities and become a vital link between the Bank and the local business community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and grow a portfolio of corporate clients through strong relationship management.
2. Acquire new business through strategic prospecting and professional networks.
3. Assess creditworthiness and prepare credit applications in line with internal policies.
4. Conduct financial analysis including balance sheets, management accounts, and covenant compliance.
5. Collaborate with branch colleagues to achieve collective business goals.
What You’ll Need:
6. Solid experience in corporate or commercial banking.
7. Proven track record in business development and portfolio management.
8. Strong credit analysis skills and knowledge of credit policy.
9. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
10. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
11. High ethical standards and commitment to compliance with FCA conduct rules.
