Commercial & Technical Support Officer
who would like to help us reach our mission to "earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service".
Purpose of this role
In conjunction with the Commercial & Technical Support Team, responsible for ensuring commercial and technical processes and procedures are adhered to in line with company procedures. Deal with all customer and 3rd party queries. Assist in the new MU Self Delivery Business where required.
Your Key Responsibilities Are
Work with Finance team; issue of invoices for Variation Order's / Advanced & Monthly Payments .
Identify any non-payment, taking ownership to conclude payment of outstanding monies.
Log, track and receipt all quotes/invoices and raise and receipt purchase orders, in line with supply chain management procedures.
Liaise with Project Managers to assist with contractual changes and to ensure all relevant information is updated real time.
Prepare the pricing of contractual or onsite variation orders and be responsible for customer liaison in matters where contractual change is identified.
Responsible for post award programme management for all new awards using Microsoft Project and in compliance with company procedures.
Program meeting for all new acceptances and provide weekly updates to customers, providing project reviews through the lifecycle of the works, until power on achieved.
Assist the Estimating Team when required to deal with peaks in workload, through the production of quotations / issue to the Customer.
Perform other ad hoc office duties which are classified as non-critical but can be achieved when time permits depending on the other activities, together with any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Scotland Commercial Manager.
Assist the Scotland Commercial Manager in the development of greater efficiency within the company.
Experience/Knowledge
Experience working in a commercial environment.
Abilities/Skills
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Experience working in a client / customer facing environment.
Proactive approach to work.
Desirable
Experience within the multi utility sector.
Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent, including Microsoft Project.
