Job Title: Finance Manager
The AM Healthcare is an international group of companies whose principal activity is to supply products and services that enhance the lives of those who require devices to support their mobility and accessibility - particularly prosthetic limbs, orthotics and wheelchairs.
Following Private Equity investment in late 2021, the Group has ambitious plans for rapid growth in the UK and Europe, which should provide great opportunities for the right candidate to develop a successful and rewarding career as it expands.
As result of this we are recruiting for this exciting new role.
This role predominantly supports the UK business but will include centralising activities undertaken in other parts of the business.
The role is hybrid; the candidate will likely be required in the head office in Abingdon 2-3 days/week.
Reporting to the Head Of Finance
Core responsibilities will be to:
* Ensuring effective management of accounting information held within the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
* Preparation of the budget with the directors and operational managers responsible.
* Production of month end management accounts in line with agreed time frames.
* Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are up to date with robust working papers and reconciling items are investigated and resolved.
* Monitoring deviation from budget, investigating and commenting on variances. Chair monthly finance review meetings with budget holders.
* Support in forecasting the cash flow requirements for Ability Matters Group
* Ensuring authorisation processes and procedures are adhered to.
* Support in the management of inventory to minimise working capital
Essential skills and experience
* Chartered level Accountancy Qualification (ACA / CIMA/ ACCA).
* Experience in healthcare and/or manufacturing environment is desirable.
* Proven experience of working in a high performing finance team.
