Major Food Group is hiring experienced Bartenders to join our opening team at Carbone London, located inside the Chancery Rosewood Hotel.
We are seeking an energetic, personable, and skilled Bartender to join our front-of-house team in London. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology and hospitality, with a strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and customer service. You will be responsible for preparing drinks to a high standard, engaging with guests, and contributing to a vibrant and welcoming bar atmosphere.
Responsibilities: Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu
Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Greet guests in a timely manner and take orders
Process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
Monthly liquor inventory
Inventory variance analysis
Order all liquor product
Order bar sundries ice, garnishes, bar mixers
Inventory efficiency ensure all product has application and purpose
Invoice processing
Receive and stock liquor product
Liquor room - cleanliness and organization
Requirements: Previous experience as a bartender in amrestaurant, or hotel
Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, and spirits
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Impeccable personal presentation and hygiene standards
Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.
