Job Description
We are currently working with aschool based in Sefton lookin to recruit someone with a Sports based background to support Secondary age pupils in an ASD Specialist SEN Secondary School.
Your role will be working in a classroom within a specialist SEND school setting supporting on a 121 basis
We are looking for people who have experience working with young people or adults in any setting with a sports coach background who are looking to transfer these skills into the classroom and support children with often complex special needs.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to:
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils across KS3 and KS4.
* Help deliver personalised learning and behaviour strategies.
* Support pupils' social and emotional development.
* Build positive relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma or disruption in their education.
* Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH or additional needs.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
* A team player who is also confident working independently.
* A willingness to learn and undertake relevant CPD.

These roles are based in specialist schools and are term time only. Hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm
