Mon - Fri 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Office Based
I am working with a National Law company that due to growth is now seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them at their Warrington Offices.
This is busy and fun office where you will work as part of a team to ensure all the daily accounting functions are completed.
Responsibilities:
* Daily bank statement reconciliations
* Process weekly supplier and miscellaneous bacs payments.
* Process monthly petty cash and foreign currency cash journals
* Process monthly company credit card and other expense claims
* Assist the accounts payable and receivable function
* Provide accounts payable and accounts receivable cover for holidays/sickness
* Raising all direct post invoices and credit notes.
* Other ad hoc duties to support the Financial Controller and Management Accountant
Preferred Skills:
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* AAT level 2 minimum qualification or 3 yeras experience
* Payroll experience is very desirable.
* Experience in a Finance Environment
* ERP System experience would be desirable to build good working relationships across all levels.
