Care at Home Officer - East Ross,
37 hours per week (working between 9am-5.30pm)
The role of Care at Home & Enablement Officer is integral to the management of the East Ross Care at Home Service and as post holder you would be responsible for helping ensure service delivery over the large geographical area of East Ross. You will be managing requests for service and implementing, reviewing and amending support packages in addition to working as part of the local Integrated Team & commissioning services to Independent Sector Providers. You will be responsible for arranging and holding regular team meetings, staff supervisions and advising staff on day to day issues. This is a challenging but rewarding role which requires the post holder to be able to demonstrate their ability to manage staff efficiently, make complex decisions and risk assess competing priorities.
The post holder will require to be registered with the SSSC and have achieved their SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care, or demonstrate a willingness and ability to work towards this qualification within an agreed time scale. The successful applicant will be fully supported into the role with a comprehensive & thorough period of induction and would offer a development opportunity for anyone working in Adult Social Care sector.
