Relief security officer role at Argenbright Security Europe Limited - ASEL in Derby, Derbyshire, United Kingdom.
Hours: Varied as this will be relief. Location: Derby. Salary: £12.21 to £15 per hour (Perkbox). Permanent - Full-time.
Responsibilities
* Patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activity
* Assessing vulnerabilities and proactively minimising risk
* Liaising with management and local authorities when applicable
* Managing vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress
* Carrying out colleague and contractor searches when required in line with policy
* Digitally reporting incidents and using devices for daily activity planning
* Providing detailed and legible incident reports to assist the Client and Local Authorities
The Person
To be an effective Security Officer, you will need to be a confident communicator and be able to provide detailed verbal and written accounts of events. You should be welcoming and patient with customers and able to handle conflict professionally.
Required Experience And Qualification
* Valid SIA licence to apply for this role
* Previous experience in a Retail Security role is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
* Must be able to provide a full 5-year checkable work or education history
* Right to work documents and a recent proof of address to be brought to interview if selected
* Current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence required to apply
