Nuffield College aspires to be a world-leading graduate college dedicated to advanced research in the social sciences. Its endowment underpins the Colleges academic activities and future sustainability. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the Endowment Office and support the management and development of the Colleges investment portfolio.

The Role

You willplayapivotalrole insupporting the management ofa diverseinvestmentportfolioof property and non-propertyassets,andwill have responsibility for ensuring robust reporting and governance arrangements are in place in relation to the Colleges investment activities.

You will oversee the day-to-daymanagement of theCollegesreal estate assets andplay a key role in contributing tothe Collegesmajorpropertydevelopment projects in Oxford.Often acting as the Colleges client representative, you will coordinate consultants, managing agents, and legal advisors to deliver projects effectively and strategically.

Alongside property responsibilities, you will oversee the administration of non-property investments, including equities, fixed income, and cash, liaising with external managers andworking closely with the Colleges Head of Finance and other key stakeholders.

The Candidate

You will be able to demonstrate strong experience of managing and/or supporting the management of investment assets, and ideally will have some experience of overseeing and/or supporting the delivery of property development projects. Familiarity with investment principles and portfolio oversight is important, though deep technical investment expertise is not essential. Outstanding stakeholder engagement, organisational skills, and respect for governance structures are key. A degree-level education is required; relevant professional qualifications are desirable.
